Web Designer (1 to 3 months contract)
Description:
Web Designer is a creative person who is responsible for the design and conceptualization of banners, on-line media and websites.
Responsibilities:
• Create and conceptualize banners and websites
• Create e-newsletters
• Collaborate with clients services; programming and editorial teams
• Participate in in-house brainstorms and meetings
• Participate in special projects, when required
Qualifications:
• Ideally you will have a AEC in Web Design or a Collegial Diploma; however proven experience is required as is a recent online portfolio
• Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills
• Strong knowledge of Flash
• Working knowledge of HTML
• Action Script would be considered a strong asset
• Adobe After-Effects and Premiere are also an asset
• Understanding of email marketing; browser platforms issues
• Strong knowledge of best practices for the web, as well as new web trends
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Strong detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
• Strong English conversational and written skills. Working knowledge of French is a good asset
